Smack dab in the middle of Aachen. I generally don’t get up quite as north as Meerbusch, generally I only make it to Düsseldorf center every now and then. But still, an hour by car!

I really enjoyed the Jaime chapters, but Cersei was a big disappointment. I expected to find something redeeming about her, but I just didn’t.

I am counting on GRRM to still give us more terrible villains. July. Not that far away, really!

I am re-reading all books in preparation for the TV show and am really amazed at the ease of GRRM killing off characters. It’s so easy for him! But I do think the book’s actually coming this summer. I gave up on Wheel of Time back then, I am not ready to give up on ASOIAF yet.
